I've had my MyFi for a week now and I must say that it has exceeded my expectations.I do live in an urban area where reception is great (DC) but I find that I rarely use the live programming when on the run and just rely on my recorded content.
First what's great about the MyFi:
1) I'm new to satellite radio and was very impressed with the variety of music available.I've discovered lots of artists that while I had my Ipod I never knew existed.Add to that the great live events, talk radio, and other content.
2) XM2Go works flawlessly.But for the limitations (below) it works flawlessly.Pop your MyFi in the cradle at night and in the morning you have 5+ hours of content.Note, the box says 5 hours but in reality if you record any of the more compressed channels (talk etc.) you will end up being able to record more than 5 hours!I believe when I record music channels I actually get closer to 6 hours of recorded content.Once you have your content you can easily scroll from song to song.Skip the ones you don't like.Replay the ones you do.
3) It is truly portable.I go from pocket (headphones), to car (FM transmitter), to home cradle (line-in to the stereo) without ever interrupting listening.
4) It comes with everything you need, including a remote controlso you can easily switch channels as your MyFi sits in its cradle across the room (you can't say that about the Ipod).Further, what it comes with is great quality.I love the swivel car cradle - not only do you not have to worry about plugging wires into the MyFi everytime you bring it into the car (they are plugged into the cradle), it makes reading the display a breeze for both the driver and the passenger (just swivel it between the two).
5) Replaceable battery.Unlike the Ipod the MyFi, like a cell phone, has a swappable battery.That means you can (eventually) either buy a replacement when the battery starts to lose strengh without conducting the surgery necessary on the Ipod (this is huge given the amount of use these devices get and the liklihood that batteries will only hold their full capacity charge for 6-12 months) or just have one handy to extend your listening time.
6) It's solid state.Unlike the Ipod you don't have to worry about a hard drive to go bad (like mine did in 8 months!)
7) Recording isn't limited to scheduled records.You can always nab a song here or there by just hitting the XM2Go button.
8) It feels solid in your hand.Yeah, it's bigger and heavier than an Ipod (think thick PDA, or perhaps the Dell MP3 player) but it's designed to fit in your hand well and works well for both left (me) and right handed people.
Now the things you should be aware of (though, knowing them I still would buy one):
1) Don't expect non-stop reception when you are roaming around.Even in metro areas you might drop a signal when you aren't using the home or car kits.I imagine it is difficult at best in non-urban areas to maintain a line of sight with the sats.Just expect that you will need to make use of the recorded content in those situations.
2) Don't expect the sound quality of a high-bitrate MP3 on the Ipod.I suspect that this has everything to do with the nature of Sat radio and nothing to do with the MyFi hardware, but, the quality is not the same.Although I would rate it great, you do notice that you are getting a compressed stream.
3) Don't expect to be able to control your content.Unless you save a recording session for days you won't likely get the same songs day to day (the playlists on XM are vast, rarely are there repeats) (notable exception is if you record the top 20 channel).That's a good thing if you like variety - that's a bad thing if you like the comfort of always having your favorite tunes handy.
4) The AV cable is a bit short (nothing an extension cord couldn't fix).
5) I would like to see a more sophisticated recording scheduler. Currently you can only schedule 2 record sessions and it limits you to recording within the next 24 hours (unless you schedule a daily recording session).With all of the great XM content it would have been nice to be able to set up a recording session several days into the future.
6) I would like to be able to lock or protect songs or even whole sessions from being recorded over by new recording sessions.Currently, the way it works is just a simple first in first out method.Fortunately, it is smart enough to merely delete a portion of an overwritten section as opposed to the whole section.
7) It doesn't buffer like a TiVo/ReplayTV.It would be nice to pause and/or rewind live content.
8) Fianlly, I would love a computer interface so that that XM can distribute updated software to fix some of the above issues.

This model does work for my Pioneer Z110BT. I was recommended another model for my player, however when I wanted to order that model wasn't going to be shipped for 3-5 weeks. This model was in stock and it worked. It does everything to from: playing ipod/iphone, playing the video from ipod/iphone, and it charges both the ipod/iphone. It works perfectly. Just make sure your model will work with this cable. I called Pioneer directly, and they did help me make the purchase. They said this model would work too.
After having a baby 4 years ago we installed an AutoPage Remote to our Jeep. Its worked flawlessly except for when the baby, now little girl destroyed a remote (she put it in her milk). Recently I broke the case myself on one of our two remotes. My local dealer could not help with this small part so I called corporate. From the initial receptionist to the VP of Operations they went the extra yard to take care of my situation. They build a great product and from my experience the whole company really stands behind it.

I can't Believe I paid $18 for this thing. The online picture is very flattering but what are actually getting is a thin piece of flexible plastic that glows with the Viper emblem painted onone side. The adhesive that you're supposed to use to attach it is placed right over the wires to give you an uneven surface for mounting. I don't be leave you could make it any cheaper.
Very nice little camera.The quality is plenty good enough to see what is behind you (although there is a little noise, I imagine more from the long cable).I drilled a hole in my plastic bumper and mounted it and found it to be a little troublesome.The collars are designed to rotate with a cam action to allow it to be aimed, but it is pretty awkward to adjust and level.Other than that I am very satisfied and feel that this is maybe the best safety feature for a car, especially if you have kids. Be sure and order you a standard video cable the length you need as it only comes with one long enough to go inside the car.
I got this cable for the P5100-DVD unit, it works as advertise the ipod interface on the radio is easy to use. The only thing I hate about this is that it also uses the USB connection from the radio, I guess for charge purposes, I would have prefer to work like the old pioneer box that connected to the battery and then the auxiliary port on the back of the unit.
This item is far to costly, since I bought my entire alarm with two of these remotes for $40.BIG MISTAKE!Under ALL circumstances, make sure to avoid the Omega Excalibur 500 alarm!Total junk, too hard to adjust, only one sensor input, and you have to buy too many extras to get it to work if you can at all.This remote is far too bulky for any keychain, and that hook thing is a waste of metal.If you need a remote, find another one if you plan to put in onto your keyring.I have to keep mine in my pocket seperately due to its bulky size.
Good product that works well. Protects my car and starts it everytime I have used it. It is powerful enough where I can start my car in my bedroom and it will turn on in the driveway, but I am not sure that there is a 1 mile range as when I am further away from my car it is not in range to start. The LCD screen is convenient and lets me know that my car is started but the instructions to check the temp and set timer, etc are a little tough and you have to cycle through buttons alot. I had to get this device professionally installed which made it a bit more expensive, but overall it was still a lot cheaper than buying a device off of a chain store and having them install it. I would probably buy this product again if I needed something similar, but would more likely lean towards the starters that work from smart-hones and ipods.
My shop has installed a bunch of these and they work very well. The display is very nice and secures to the dash with 3M tape.

I purchased a Xpresskit DLPK canbus passkey Interface. Delivery should be in a few bussiness day, but was more then a week to arrived. Got a car alarm Technician from installnet program to installed it with a Viper 5092 for my 2010 Infiniti FX35. He told me he got it installed, but couldn't using this passkey modular and other customer had the same model all was incompatiable for some reason. Had to return it. back.
This item works very well have had no problem with MARS 32 and it was self installed
As far as the delivery of the product it was on time and fast...as far as the product itself i am very unhappy with it...you can't switch between active and passive arming...the overall operation of the alarm and remote system is just terrible...Pyle needs to stick with audio products and leave the security stuff to the experts...i will never buy another Pyle security system again..
The remote was shipped in sealed OEM packaging with supplied instructions.It was easy to pair to my system and works great. AAA+
Alarm has problems, it keeps disarming (silently) and unlocking doors in the middle of the night. Unable to get Pyle Support to respond to Phone or Emails.
I have a 2005 Honda Odyssey with factory installed Honda RES.I looked for options to replace my OEM Honda wireless headphones that have a flimsy plastic strip that is used for head size adjustment.The strip on the Honda headphones had ripped on 3 sets of headphones now.
We bought this for our 5 yr old when he started school. Everytime ANY of the cones are moved it messes one of the settings. This alarm clock is cute, but not worth the hassles of having to reset the time and alarm every day.We kept it just for the radio, otherwise it would be in the trash.

You will not be disappointed by this alarm excellent range really comes in handy for those hot days (if the AC is left on ) to pre cool the car. After ordering from amazon I got it within a week and a half time, took and hour to install the unit, even the installer was impressed with the cost and functionality. The only downside for now is that sometimes navigating all the menus can be frustrating mainly because it depends on button sequences, but a very good unit regardless.
Apparently, if you install this yourself, there will be no warranty. You have to have a "qualified" installer put it in for you. I bought this to save money and I am quite capable of installing it myself. Wish I had known about the warranty issue before purchase, would have gone with something else.
Hello, I am just wondering if the remote start and alarm system is able to work on a 03 nissan sentra ser automaic 4 speed. Is it going to to be able to connect to the ignition unit to be able to use the remote start unit?
